The Men's Ministry at Northside Baptist Church encourages men to strengthen their walk with God and to draw closer to Him through Bible study, fellowship, recreation, and other activities.  Through the Men's Ministry, men have opportunities to build relationships with other godly men of the church in hopes of providing encouragement, mentoring, and a sense of accountability.  Proverbs 27:17 tells us that as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.  All of the ministry activities are designed to allow us to invite men from outside our church.  With today's modern "worldly" view of life combined with with the mounting temptations that men experience, it is increasingly important for men to realize that this "worldly" way is not God's way.  We must be the godly men that He has called us to be and swim upstream, against the "worldly" current.  We must stand strong and be the spiritual leaders in our church and in our families, following the perfect example, Jesus Christ.
