Meet the Senior Staff

 Senior Pastor - EMAIL
Dr. Evers was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his wife, Cindy, have 3 adult children. He preached his first sermons as a teenager. Pastor Fred received a Bachelor of Arts at The Criswell College in Dallas, Texas, a Master of Divinity at The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Doctor of Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has 34 years of ministerial experience (28 years in the pastorate). He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention. In addition to preaching at Northside every week, Pastor Fred maintains an active preaching schedule beyond our congregation. Dr. Evers has served at Northside since June 1999.
FACTS ABOUT PASTOR:
What's on my iPod: Waffle House Juke Box Favorites and several audio books. There would be more on my iPod if some of the members of our staff would take the time to help me understand it.
Dream Travel Destination: I love the beach, but any place I can go with Cindy is my favorite.
Favorite Place to Eat: Mexican or BBQ
Favorite Books: The Bible and anything written by Garrison Keillor or John Grisham. I also enjoy reading history and books on cultural issues.
Favorite Movies: Patton, Gettysburg
Favorite Pastime: Fishing
 Minister of Worship - EMAIL
Leading worship is Brian's passion, but more important it is his calling. He has only two goals when it comes to leading worship. First he desires to honor God in everything he does. Second he desires to be an authentic worshipper. He feels that if he can get those two things right, everything else will fall in place. Brian is married with one child, Emma Grace. His wife Leslie is a dental hygienist.
This quote encapsulates Brian's heart for worship: “Worship is not a lifestyle, it is the evidence of a life change caused from a risen Savior! When our life is changed through the blood of Christ, Worship is not an action it is a reaction of gratitude and praise for a Holy God. There is no choice! WE must worship!” FACTS ABOUT BRIAN:

Kevin was born in Dayton, Ohio and has also lived in New Mexico, California, Indiana, Michigan, Georgia, Kentucky and Mexico. Kevin and his wife Casey have two children… Chloe who was born in October of 2006 and Claire was born in September of 2008. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Spring Arbor University in 1997 and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2005. In Kevin’s free time he enjoys playing golf, traveling, spending time with family, grilling out & eating. He and his family joined the Northside family in April of 2007.

What's on my iPod: Have you seen my car, I am still listening to cassette tapes... no iPod here. If I had one, it would just have the Northside Baptist Church choir "Come O Lord" collection.

Robert was born in Sylvania, Georgia but was raised in Columbia, South Carolina. His wife Ann was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. She is an English as a Second Language teacher at J.T. Reddick and Matt Wilson schools. They have two adult children. Johnathan was a missionary journeyman in Barcelona, Spain and is now a student at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary in the San Francisco, California area. Michael and his wife, Danni, live in West Lafayette, Indiana where he is a graduate research assistant working on a master’s in mechanical engineering at Purdue University. Robert received a B.A. degree in Public Recreation from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Robert and Ann were appointed as missionaries with the International Mission Board and served in Argentina from 1989-1993 after a year in the Spanish Language Institute in Costa Rica. Robert holds the distinction of serving as the first sports evangelism missionary appointed by the IMB. Robert has served at Northside since April 1994 and has been in full time youth/recreation/missions ministry for nearly 30 years. FACTS ABOUT ROBERT:
